President George W. Bush said on Wednesday that American patience over Iraq had its limits
Dude....
First we invaded their country under false pretenses. Then we failed repeatedly at everything we promised we would do. Then we actively made their situations worse through war planning that didn't even take into account that there MIGHT be an insurgency(seriously, look it up. Our phase-IV plan LITERALY consisted of "They'll greet us as liberators").
Now he's telling them that OUR patience with THEM is limited??? WHAT THE FUCK HAS THIS DUDE BEEN SMOKING???
That statement sums up the ignorance of the administration in one neat little sentence. On the list of dumbest things ever said by the president, only TWO things are higher up. The first is the obvious one, "Bring it on". The second was when Bush visited the Social security office, looked the Treasury Bills stored there, and then claimed that they were "Nothing but IOU's"
(That second case is actually an impeachable offense, "Casting doubt on american institutions", aka, money. If republicans didn't control both houses, he probably would have been kicked out of office for that stunt...)
