What do you think of this?

I'm sure there's a lot more on it, but this was the most detailed link I could find at the moment.

i read about it a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't get much press over here.

i'm not exactly mr. censorship, nor am i bush's biggest fan, but... i kind of feel like they should have fictionalized his identity. it's just creepy and seems of questionable taste.

Yeah, kind of pointless to a degree.

It's like a "what if" fantasy, I'm not sure what value it has even as purely creative expression. It might actually be more interesting if it were a president from the distant past, then they could fill in the blanks until now and come up with something a bit more ponder worthy. Dunno. It seems lame.

It's not even that interesting though.

Even if you HATE Bush, so what? He dies, then what?

it would be cool if part of the storyline followed him into the afterlife. he meets god, who tells him "dude, you were WAY off!" :naughty:

So you're God and he meets you? :naughty:

Hmm, I smell no bias....

Anyways what I had read is that the CIA and NSA hate this production because of all the false positives it generates.

Ahh,

The infamous channel four- when it airs in October I'll tell you about it, but really it is about how the US Government would react to it. Seriously though, C4 are obcessed with provocative programming designed to piss people off. In 2003, they had an autopsy performed live on air, they had another bloke who played Russian Roulette on air. They wanted someone to commit suicide on air, but finally Ofcom (TV regulator) stepped in.

i think the only reason the network went with such an extreme and controversial topic was that last year's "Toe-Stubbing of a First Lady" got such bad ratings.
